Embroidery Machine Operator

Our client, based near Alton are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to work within their Production Department.

The main responsibility will be setting and running production line equipment for a variety of products within the factory. The successful candidate will mainly be involved in the production of quality embroidered labels/logos using a combination of processes

It will not necessarily be limited to this as flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role. Other duties will include:

-Be responsible for the setting of production lines in accordance with product standards and specifications.

-Liaise closely with Production Management to prioritise production planning.

-Work closely as part of the production team.

-Identify faults and highlight potential problems to Management ensuring minimal downtime.

-Be responsible for completion of allocated production Work Orders and all other relevant documentation

Skills and experience required

-Basic mechanical aptitude

-Experience working within a fast moving environment.

-Moderate physical effort will be required and will include, bending, lifting and the operation of basic manual handling and occasional movement of equipment.

-Full compliance with Quality, Health and Safety at Work at all times.

Full training will be given, but a bit of experience would be an advantage.

Salary £19,500 (Temp to perm)

Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm
